Day four - Outdoor Location

Holiday day four is spent at one of the existing outdoor locations. We will choose the site as the week goes on. On this day we will consider Mood and how we achieve that excitment or tranquility that we seek in our pictures.

Painting

After breakfast we will each prepare our own outdoor painting kit and then we will set off into the countryside.

Preparation will include making sure we have plenty of papers cut and attached to boards. We will use several as we work quickly and loosely

Demonstration of techniques to create the mood we want from our finished picture

Painting 

working on our subject to get mood and atmosphere

Return home

Relax, read, swim, play pentanque, cycle and unwind in preparation for a great alfresco dinner.

7:00pm

Aperitif and Dinner

Unwind with an alfresco dinner on the terrace with great views of the Lauragais and over to the Black Mountains.
