How your holiday works

brush We pick you up from Toulouse or Carcassonne airport or train station, or come by car if you prefer, All you need to bring is yourself, money for two meals out, and paint and brushes)

brush We return you to the airport or train station, at the end of your holiday.

brush All your meals are provided (except for one evening meal and one lunch in Albi. On these trips we give you the chance to sample the delicious local restaurant food).

brush You relax. If you're painting you receive tuition from a qualified teacher and artist.

brush A full exciting programme is provided for painters and there are plenty of activities for non painters.

brush We all take advantage of local events like night markets, music and festivals where opportunity arises.

brush You leave your worries at home. Relax paint and discover a different way of life and a beautiful landscape.

brush Develop a passion for painting impressionist watercolours.

brush Don't forget to bring money for drinks in those atmospheric French Cafes.

Seven day programme

brushArrival and departure day – Sunday (or Saturday if no flight Sunday)

brush Day One - Materials and techniques, and loose wet washes on location.

brush Day Two - Composition, wash and colour, on location.

brush Day Three - Finishing and changing pictures in the studio. In the afternoon painting on location. Evening meal at local restaurant.

brush Day Four - Light, mood and atmosphere on location.

brush Day Five - Drawing, Tone and light at Albi. Take advantage of sightseeing opportunities in Albi including lunch in a restaurant, the stunning cathedral and the Toulouse Lautrec museum.

brush Day six - Revel Market, and relaxing afternoon.
